Mindful Counting for Inclusivity organized as a local activity in Iasi was a compelling and heartwarming event focused on fostering inclusivity and connection among people with visual disabilities. Held as part of our ongoing initiative "Non-Formal Education (NFE) Methods for Inclusive Workshops", this event introduced an innovative exercise: Mindful Counting in Sync.

Participants, both sighted and visually impaired, engaged in a unique challenge — counting in their minds while attempting to synchronize with others, all without the aid of visual cues. This exercise was not just a test of mental coordination but also a powerful tool for building empathy and understanding. It encouraged participants to rely on their other senses and intuition, fostering a deeper sense of connection and teamwork.

The activity served as an effective ice-breaker and a step towards creating more inclusive environments. It was a reminder that despite our differences, we can find harmony and unity in shared experiences.
