LOCAL ACTIVITIY WITH COO IVAN ŠTARK

As part of our "NFE for DIS" project, we conducted an activity in which we included young people with Down syndrome who attend COO I. Štark

It is actually about our participants who participated in other projects of the association, and in this way we wanted to show other young people with Down syndrome and their parents how it is possible to complete the free time of young people with disabilities.

It is the informal activities that are adapted to their abilities that enable them to develop the knowledge and skills necessary for their future. We always look forward to involving as many young people as possible in all our activities in order to create an inclusive society that we often hear about in the media, but concrete activities and efforts in this direction are lacking.

Our activity combined music and objects, so we had a chance to play with our prashute and give them different tasks that they were able to complete and were very happy about it. They expressed happiness and excitement to take part so activity took longer than we expected.

Given the date, of course, all the young people were visited by St. Nicholas and were given small presents beside our stickers.
